Our arts and culture events and museums attracted record attendance and visitors in 2019, according to the 2020 Singapore Cultural Statistics (SCS). The 2020 SCS shows that the following were achieved in 2019:
A. Attendance at arts and cultural events reached all-time high of 15.6 million
- Record attendance of 13.6 million at non-ticketed events
- 2 million attendance at ticketed events
B. All-time high visitorship to institutions in the Museum Roundtable (MR) (comprising over 50 public and private museums and heritage galleries) at close to 9.6mil.
- Visitorship to National Museums (including NHB museums, NGS and SAM’s programmes) and Heritage Institutions registered a new record high of close to 5.8mil visitors.

Performing arts refer to folk, traditional, classical and contemporary forms of dance, music (pop/rock concerts included) and theatre. Ticketed attendance refers to attendance at performing arts events that require a ticket for entry. It includes tickets sold and complimentary tickets issued.
